Przepis na bigos w języku angielskim 📖

Ingredients:
- 1 lb sauerkraut
- 1 lb fresh cabbage, shredded
- 1 lb mixed meats (such as pork shoulder, bacon, kielbasa), diced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 cup dried wild mushrooms, soaked in water (optional)
- 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions:
1. In a large pot, heat some vegetable oil and fry the diced meats until browned.
2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
3. Add the shredded cabbage and sauerkraut. Stir well and cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Drain the soaked wild mushrooms and add them to the pot, along with the sliced mushrooms and carrots.
5. Season with salt, pepper, marjoram, and caraway seeds. Stir everything together.
6. Pour in the broth and add the bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
8. Serve the bigos hot with crusty bread or boiled potatoes.
