Spaghetti Bolognese:Ingredients:
- 250g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 250g ground beef
- 400g canned chopped tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened and fragrant.
3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.
4. Stir in the canned chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve the Bolognese sauce over the cooked spaghetti. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
