Przepis na pierogi w języku angielskim 📖

Pierogi recipe:

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for frying

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the vegetable oil and warm water. Mix well until the dough forms a ball.
2. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic. Let it rest for about 30 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix together mashed potatoes, cottage cheese, onion, salt, and pepper.
4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is about 1/8 inch thick. Use a round cookie cutter or glass to cut out circles of dough.
5. Place a spoonful of the potato filling in the center of each dough circle. Fold the dough in half and seal the edges by pressing them together with your fingers.
6. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Drop the pierogi into the boiling water and cook for about 5 minutes or until they float to the surface.
7. Drain the pierogi and transfer them to a frying pan with melted butter. Fry them until they turn golden brown on each side.
8. Serve the pierogi hot with sour cream or your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
