Chocolate Cake Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
3. Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
4. Gradually pour in the boiling water while stirring the mixture. The batter will be thin, but that's normal.
5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool in the pans for about 10 minutes. Then, transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
8. Once the cakes have cooled, you can frost and decorate them as desired. You can use buttercream frosting, chocolate ganache, or any other frosting of your choice.
9. Slice and serve the chocolate cake, and enjoy!

Note: You can also add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the batter for extra flavor and texture.
