Przepis na rybę z frytkami po angielsku 📖

Ingredients:
- 1 whole fish (such as cod or haddock)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 cup beer (optional)
- 2 large potatoes, cut into French fries
- Salt, to taste

Instructions:
1. Start by preparing the fish. Clean it thoroughly and remove any scales or guts. If desired, you can remove the head and tail.
2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and black pepper.
3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot to about 375°F (190°C).
4. Dip each fish fillet into the flour mixture, making sure to coat it entirely.
5. Gently place the coated fish into the hot oil, frying each side for about 4-6 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
6. If you prefer a beer batter, gradually whisk the beer into the flour mixture until a thick batter forms. Dip the fish into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, and then fry as described above.
7. While the fish is frying, prepare the French fries. Heat vegetable oil in a separate pot or deep fryer. Add the cut potatoes and fry until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.
8. Serve the fried fish and fries together, traditionally accompanied by tartar sauce, ketchup, or malt vinegar. Enjoy!

Note: This recipe can be modified by adding various spices or herbs to the flour mixture for extra flavor. Additionally, lemon wedges or a side salad make great additions to this classic dish.
