Przepis na pierogi z kapustą i grzybami po angielsku 📖

Recipe for cabbage and mushroom pierogi:

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 cups finely chopped cabbage
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sour cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Slowly add warm water while stirring until the dough comes together.
2. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then cover it and let it rest for 30 minutes.
3. Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the onion until translucent.
4. Add the chopped cabbage and mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they soften. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it's about 1/8 inch thick. Use a glass or round cookie cutter to cut circles out of the dough.
6. Spoon a small amount of the cabbage and mushroom filling onto each dough circle. Fold the circle in half and pinch the edges together to seal.
7. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pierogi in batches for about 5 minutes or until they float to the top.
8. Remove the pierogi with a slotted spoon and drain well.
9. Serve the pierogi hot with sour cream, if desired.
